|AirTight Networks Strengthens Executive Bench to Expand Global Presence in Retail and Enterprise Wi-Fi|

Technology industry veterans to drive rapid growth of cloud-managed Wi-Fi leader
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — June 17, 2015 — AirTight Networks, a global leader in cloud-managed Wi-Fi, today announced the appointment of Rick Wilmer to the position of chief executive officer, and of Kester Kyrie to vice president of worldwide sales and channels. The additions position the company for continued success in the fast growing enterprise Wi-Fi market.

Wilmer brings more than 25 years of experience in networking and storage to his new role as AirTight CEO. Prior to joining AirTight as COO in December 2014, he served as CEO of Leyden Energy and was an executive-in-residence at Lightspeed Venture Partners. He previously served as CEO of Pliant Technology (acquired by SanDisk) and as COO of Santur Corporation. Prior to that he was head of business operations at Aruba Networks, from its early days through its IPO in 2007. Wilmer also served in executive engineering and operations roles at 2Wire, Seagate and Maxtor.
Kyrie brings more than 25 years of experience in the sales industry to AirTight. Prior to AirTight, he served as vice president of sales for Cyphort, helping launch the company while building out the sales and channel organization. He spent 10 years at Aruba Networks, most recently serving as the area vice president of sales for the West, and taking the company from its first sales through its IPO in 2007 to more than $600 million in revenues. He previously held sales leadership roles at Intruvert Networks, Alteon WebSystems and Shomiti Systems.
